So the Ceilidh Band & DJ/Disco option is probably our most popular musical option for weddings and always go down a treat with brides, grooms and guests a like. Basically you get the best of both worlds.... when i say best i mean the best ceilidh AND best DJ.
Loads of other entertainment companies are good at either the Ceilidh OR good DJ's its not often you find a Ceilidh Band and DJ that are great at both...
In fact we have noticed some DJ's play MP3's of Ceilidh Music and call the dance steps over the top of the music, which takes away the Full Ceilidh Experience.. you 100% WILL NOT get that from us.

The Dance Caller is an important part of a ceilidh band. Our experienced dance caller will keep you right with the dance steps whether your a first time ceilidh goer or you just need your memory refreshed on the steps.

Our DJ will introduce you on to the floor for the first time as a married couple and ensure that your pre arranged plans i.e getting the rest of the bridal party on the floor happens exacly how you want it to.

How the Ceilidh & DJ Combine
So, we get asked this question a lot, however, all weddings are different due to clients different ideas and expectations, but more often than not the running order goes like this - (obviously times vary)
20:00pm - First Dance(s)
20:05pm - Ceilidh up until planned interval or buffet
21:00pm - Interval or Buffet
21:30/21:45 - DJ Usually until the end but some couples like the last half hour to be ceilidh
23:30 - Ceilidh or DJ
00:00 - The Big Finish (usually Loch Lomond)
